Can I make a return at Modshop?
ModShop does not accept returns or cancellations on any custom orders OR Made to order items.Most their items are made to order so please check the product listing for lead time as well as select carefully and make sure it’s exactly what you want and that it will fit into your space!
Store credit may only be issued on stock items and are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
All discounted floor model "Sale" items are sold "As is" and are final sale, no returns or store credit will be available for those items. Clearance & Seasonal items cannot be exchanged or returned.
What should I do if I want to make a purchase?
ModShop offers a wide range of quality fabrics from reputable vendors, however they cannot guarantee availability on special order fabrics. In the event the fabric of your choice is unavailable or delayed due to backorder from the manufacturer, they will promptly notify you but cannot accept responsibility for additional time delays or charges incurred on pricing of other fabric selections. They will be happy to recommend alternative fabric options that meet the agreed estimate and best delivery time possible.
What's the local deliveries at Modshop?
For local deliveries, they require 48 hours notice and a three-hour window of time. Inspect your order thoroughly prior to signing any delivery documents; in the event damages are incurred during delivery, it is imperative that you note any and all damages at the time of delivery and contact them immediately.
Local Delivery fees are based on your zip code and its proximity to their warehouse. The delivery fee is quoted based on the number of pieces of furniture and includes all assembly, up to two flights of stairs (20 steps), placement in your home and removal of all packing materials. Their delivery crews are not allowed to move your other furnishings and or take away/haul any old furniture pieces in their trucks.
What the Modshop warranty information?
ModShop offers a two year warranty. Accidental damage and normal wear and tear from in-home use is not covered as part of the ModShop Warranty. Additional items not covered or that may void the ModShop Warranty are noted below:
Customer modifications
Fabric damage due to fabric protection application
Colorfastness or dye lot variations of fabrics
Damage caused by neglect, abuse, misuse or accidents
Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance,
cleaning or care (e.g. excessive pet hair)
What the warranty not cover?
The ModShop Warranty does not cover furniture used for commercial or institutional purposes including but not limited to home daycare, business and rental purposes. The ModShop Warranty does not cover accessories or clearance and floor model furniture sold "as-is". There is no exchange, refund, return or service for "as-is" items. The ModShop Warranty does not cover mattresses.
What's the ModShop Warranty claims process?
Take photos of the defective area as well as several photos to show a 360-degree view of the item
Locate your Sales Order number (if available) and contact Customer Services department. The Customer Service Representatives will assist you in determining if your claim is covered.
If your claim is approved, Mod Shop representatives will schedule a technician.
