Do sales or discounts affect the royalties I'm paid?

Sales do not alter or change the royalty amount you are paid.  If you're royalty rate is $3.00 for a t-shirt sale and the customer has a 25% off discount, you will still be paid $3.00 for that sale.


How does FedEx International Mail work?

  • FedEx International Mail (the standard international shipping option) is a consolidated shipping service. Packages shipped using this service are first sent to a FedEx Sort Facility in Los Angeles, California. From there, they are sorted by country and shipped to that country's local postal service for customs clearance and final delivery.

  • This service usually delivers in 2-4 weeks from the ship date, but can take up to 5 weeks if there are any delays in customs clearance, shipping, or final delivery. There is no international tracking for this shipping method! Once it leaves the USA, that's it until it arrives!

  • Again, any package shipped via the FedEx International Mail service will be delivered by your local postal service, not by FedEx.  Please check with your local postal carrier if you have questions about your package.


How do I return a wrong or defective item?

Please send an email to service@designbyhumans.com and include a picture of the wrong or defective item. This will allow them to verify the mistake and take care of it right away. Please let them know if you would like a replacement or a refund. They do not require you to return the tee if it is in fact defective.


What happens if my package gets sent back to Design By Humans?

Any package which fails to deliver or is refused will be sent back to them via the same postal service used to deliver it. Returns however, come back at a much slower pace since they are not considered a priority over delivering outbound packages. This can often times mean a delayed return before they can begin to process your package.


What should I do once the package has arrived back one of two things happens?

  • Packages that have been refused will be refunded if possible minus the original shipping charge and minus the return shipping fee if there is one. If the order contains non-refundable items then you will be contacted to discern the reason why you refused it. They can re-ship the package, but at the expense of the customer. Non-refundable items will not be refunded even if the package is refused.

  • Packages that fail to deliver due to bad addresses, incorrect spelling etc will have their recipients contacted to correct the address issue and the package will be reshipped to you. If you notice a "Return to Shipper" exception in your package tracking information, please contact them so they can get your information updated as quickly as possible to make your reshipping turn around time as fast as possible.
